Job Description

The NewRich Network is looking for a talented SEO Manager to join our team and help us build out our SEO strategy from the ground up.

Our marketing projects are a critical part of our company. We combine technology, data, and creative energy to create a highly effective marketing strategy designed for the ever-changing digital environment.

Our mission is to identify opportunities and apply optimizations that users and search engines prefer, enabling our clients to grow their online business and make the most of web traffic from all channels.

As the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small army of SEO specialists who work on a variety of SEO tasks including backlink builders, negotiators, developers, and content writers.

In this position, You will report to our Head of Marketing.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of SEO specialists who collectively build and execute our SEO strategy.
  • Supporting strategy, planning, and analysis for client on-site and off-site SEO campaigns.
  • Conducting keyword and competitor research to support actionable recommendations.
  • Reviewing opportunities for improving various web properties from a technical perspective, including the resolution of errors and optimization of page speed performance.
  • Manually reviewing crawl data to identify and prioritize solutions that will improve the quality and user experience on client websites.
  • Optimizing on-site content, including titles, meta descriptions, internal links, and more.
  • Monitoring and reporting on web property performance, including wins and opportunities.
  • Implementing approved SEO recommendations on the behalf of stakeholders.
  • Working with Content Writers and Copywriters to advise on optimal topics and strategies for unique quality SEO-optimized content.
  • Editing both internally written and client-provided copy.
  • Vetting potential link partners, drafting scripts, and conducting outreach campaigns to secure paid and organic placements on third-party websites.
  • Publishing approved content and optimizations.
  • Formalizing and presenting recommendations to stakeholders for approval.
  • Leveraging third-party tools, such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, and Majestic to identify technical, content, and outreach opportunities.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Applicants with intermediate to advanced SEO experience are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, identify opportunities, and provide succinct recommendations.
  • Hustle and an exceptional work ethic.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • A quick study who’s driven and willing to proactively research solutions.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehension and the ability/willingness to speak to current industry trends.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to both take direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Interest in creative or technical writing (strong writing samples are a plus).
