Job Description

As a Front-end engineer you work on the Wehkamp e-commerce platform that millions of customers use 24 hours a day. As part of a cross-functional team, you help build new features, improve existing processes and think about setting up architectures. Performance, cross-browser and cross-device development are facets that you take into account and you also regularly consult with the other front-end developers to share knowledge and help with pull requests/code reviews.

Qualifications

What is important:
You are an intelligent and analytically strong Front-end Engineer with at least 3 years of experience. HTML, CSS, Javascript and React (or a similar framework, such as Angular or Vue.js) have no secrets for you. You think testing is an important part of your job. You have a focus on performance, a good feeling for UX/design and you dare to challenge where necessary. Working from home is not an obstacle for you and you can quickly find your direct colleagues via the Hangout or Slack. Having experience with Redux and/or GraphQL is a plus, just like having the DevOps mentality. Our market is always on the move.
It is important in this position that you speak both the Dutch and English language well.
