Summary:

As a Senior Accountant in a company within our network, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial statements.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on budgets, monitor performance, and analyze variances.

  • Internal Controls, Financial Analysis, Tax Compliance, and Audit Support: Establish controls, conduct analysis, coordinate tax activities, and support audits. Collaborate cross-functionally for a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus.
  • Strong Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting
  • Principles (GAAP) and financial accounting standards. Familiarity with tax laws and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using accounting software and financial management systems. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior staff is desirable.
  • Integrity and Ethics: High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
