Are you looking for an opportunity to join a fast-growing company that consistently outpaces the industry in year-over-year growth? Liberty Mutual offers an exciting opening for a Senior Investigator for our Senior Investigations Unit within the South Region!
As a Senior Investigator, you will conduct in-depth investigations into potentially fraudulent insurance claims, including suspicious losses and organized schemes such as staged accidents or provider fraud. You'll collaborate closely with claims teams across all lines of business to evaluate referrals and determine claim validity. Operating with limited supervision, you'll play a key role in identifying fraud, mitigating risk, and protecting the integrity of our claims operations.
This is a 100% remote position; however, please note that this policy is subject to change.
Responsibilities:- Conduct extensive and detailed investigations of suspicious losses and varying complexity.
Lead in-depth interviews of participants, witnesses, or claimants.
Make disposition recommendations to management and execute of agreed strategy.
Work with outside experts to determine the accuracy of alleged facts.
Provides investigation skills, fraud awareness training, and technical expertise to branch offices and interdepartmental. Preferred Qualifications:- Proficiency in Spanish and English
Current and valid adjuster's license Qualifications- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years of progressive experience in conducting fraud investigations.
Thorough knowledge of investigation techniques and prevailing SIU practices and procedures.
Working knowledge of accounting concepts, accident reconstruction, and damage assessment.
