Magic is a decentralized internet service provider that reimagines global internet connectivity by creating a network of networks powered by both large carriers and individual gateway providers. The company addresses fundamental problems with traditional internet access, including unsecured connections, data throttling, data caps, and unreliable service by offering a single, open-sourced network accessible everywhere. Magic enables seamless device roaming across cellular networks and WiFi access points without specialized hardware, using a token-based incentive system where gateway providers earn rewards for broadcasting coverage and transporting data. The platform is currently available in developer alpha, featuring Magic Client and Magic Agent software compatible with most modern routers, with users able to contribute nodes to the decentralized network.
