This policy explains how RemoteJobs.org handles information when you browse jobs, post a listing, subscribe to emails, or use our Career Agent and related services.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, messages, job listings, company details, and any résumé, work history, job preferences, or application information you submit.
- Service and payment records: subscriptions, purchases, billing status, application activity, and communications. Stripe processes payment details; our application stores payment references and status rather than full card numbers.
- Usage information: pages visited, clicks on service features, referring pages, browser and device information, IP addresses, and diagnostic data collected by our infrastructure and analytics providers.
- Public information: job postings and company information collected from public websites and other job sources.
How we use information
We use information to operate the job directory, publish and manage listings, deliver emails, process payments, provide customer support, secure the service, and understand and improve its performance. For Career Agent, we use the information you submit to assess job matches, tailor résumés, provide coaching, and prepare or submit applications as part of the service you request.
Who receives information
We use service providers for hosting, storage, email, payments, analytics, and AI processing. These include Supabase, Resend, Stripe, PostHog, Google Analytics, and Anthropic. Résumés and related career information may be processed by AI providers to support Career Agent features. Information needed for an application may be shared with the relevant employer or application platform when we submit it on your behalf.
Job listings and company information you submit for publication are public. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security issues, to protect rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in, preferences, analytics, and advertising. PostHog measures page views and selected feature events; its session recording is disabled in our site configuration. Google Analytics measures site usage, and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads.

Your choices and requests
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using their unsubscribe link. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to ask about other privacy rights available where you live, email hello@remotejobs.org. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or transaction purposes.
Storage and security
Information is stored in our systems and those of our providers and may be processed in countries other than your own. Retention depends on the service, the status of your account or subscription, and applicable operational and legal requirements. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for a job application.
Third-party websites
Links to employers and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Those services control the information you provide directly to them.
Children
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
