These terms govern your use of RemoteJobs.org and its job directory, employer listings, API, and Career Agent services. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
Using the service
You must be at least 18 to purchase services or authorize applications on your behalf. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in links and credentials, and use the service lawfully. Do not impersonate others, publish misleading or unlawful listings, send spam, introduce malicious software, bypass access controls or rate limits, or disrupt the service.
Job listings and external websites
We aggregate listings from third parties and accept employer submissions. Listings may change, expire, or contain errors. We do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, compensation, or an employer's conduct. Verify important details directly with the employer. RemoteJobs.org is not the employer or a party to an employment agreement. External websites and application platforms have their own terms and policies.
Content you submit
You are responsible for the information and content you provide and must have permission to share it. You retain ownership of your content and give us permission to store, process, reproduce, and display it as needed to deliver the services you request. Employer listings and associated company information are intended for public display. We may reject or remove content that violates these terms or threatens the integrity of the service.
Career Agent
Career Agent uses AI to match jobs and prepare application materials from the facts you confirm. In the self-service offer, you edit the materials, answer employer questions, and approve the exact outgoing application before we send it to the named employer or application platform. There is no staff review step in that offer. Automatic submission supports compatible forms; other forms require you to apply directly. Pause pending work and manage connected apps in your account. A dispatched application cannot be retracted through Career Agent.
AI-generated content and recommendations can be incorrect. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your qualifications and representations. We cannot guarantee a job offer, interview, or employment outcome. The money-back guarantee below does not promise an employment outcome.
Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
Prices, trial periods, billing intervals, and included services are shown in the applicable offer and checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew and are billed until canceled. You can manage Career Agent billing and cancellation through your billing page or contact support at support@remotejobs.org.
Employer job posts are offered as a one-time payment for a 30-day listing, with a 14-day money-back guarantee. New eligible Career Agent subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial, then renew at $39 USD per month before any applicable tax. Payment details and completion of Stripe-hosted checkout are required to activate the trial. Account creation or returning from checkout does not activate Career Agent. The confirmed trial end and first billing date appear in Plan & access. The trial includes 20 application credits and the separate document, matching, drafting and browser processing limits shown before checkout. A new paid allowance follows a confirmed paid billing period. Trial allowance expires when the trial ends; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Processing limits may be reached before all application credits are used.
Cancel in Plan & access before the confirmed trial end to avoid the first monthly charge. Trial access continues through that recorded trial end. You can cancel later renewal at any time; paid access continues through the recorded paid period. Cancellation does not delete your free account or saved work. Free private accounts, saved jobs, saved searches and application records do not require a Career Agent subscription. Earlier free allowances and existing checkout attempts retain their recorded terms; they do not create a new trial.
Only confirmed employer submissions use an application credit; an unknown outcome does not authorize another submission. When eligible, a single bounded recovery credit may be issued after 24 hours if an uncertain outcome remains unresolved. A replacement from trial allowance requires an unexpired trial and expires at its original end; it does not extend trial access. The original role stays protected from a duplicate submission. The Career Agent subscription also includes a 14-day money-back guarantee from the initial paid purchase: request a full refund within 14 days of that first payment by emailing support@remotejobs.org. The guarantee starts with the first paid purchase, not the free trial, and does not restart at each renewal. Refunds are handled manually; cancellation does not itself request or complete a refund.
Earlier Career Agent purchases may include other trial, price or interview-or-refund terms. Those expressly purchased terms and paid-through dates remain applicable. By completing checkout, you agree to the displayed plan and these Terms. Existing customers offered new renewal terms choose whether to continue under them. The specific offer shown when you purchase governs your purchase; these terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
API and site content
Use the API according to the documented access requirements, attribution requirements, and limits. Third-party job descriptions, trademarks, and other materials belong to their respective owners. Access to our directory does not transfer ownership of those materials or authorize uses that infringe their owners' rights.
Availability and responsibility
We may update, interrupt, or discontinue features and may suspend access for misuse or security reasons. To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the services or third-party listings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including information used for applications, payments, analytics, and advertising.
Changes and contact
