Public Health Research
PHF Science is a New Zealand Government-owned research organisation established in 2025, formerly known as ESR. Specialising in public health and forensic sciences, the organisation is dedicated to the health, wellbeing and safety of New Zealand communities. PHF Science monitors disease, ensures safe food and water, reduces harm from drugs, and supports the justice system through scientific research and innovation. The organisation operates four locations across Aotearoa New Zealand, from Auckland to Christchurch and Wellington.
