Support CAM Manufacturing activities to ensure the availability CNC programs to operate CNC machines.
Reduce cost of CNC manufacturing by providing time saving and high tool life strategy programming.
Develop innovative methods of CNC programs and ensure continuous improvement
To ensure the full utilization of manufacturing resources and achieve best deliveries and productivity norms.
Responsible for the CNC program data to prevent damages, piracy etc
Keep confidentiality of the CAM services
Job Context & Major Challenges
Job Context: The die design and manufacturing cell will concentrate on practice standardization and technology transfer. It will concentrate on assisting the Plants in realizing their latent potential and mastering the die design concepts.
To achieve continuous development activities in the product and process, the job necessitates critical die design and manufacturing via CAD system and Simulation. This must be accomplished through value addition in the design, manufacture, and repair of dies used to produce high-quality extruded products. The main aspect of the job would be to introduce innovative technologies at the plant in order to improve the team's productivity and efficiency.
Job Challenges: Create efficient CNC programs for multiple machines on time
Thorough knowledge of cutting tools and its features
Innovate the programming methods, which will reduce manufacturing time as well as increase tool life
Lowering the cost of die manufacturing.
To shorten the overall time required for die development
Train operatives for multi-skilled activities in all of machine centers
Identify digital technology projects across the die shop to increase machine availability, die quality, and team efficiency.
Continuous improvement through structured research and training methodology will improve domain expertise and ensure expert availability.

KRA1 CNC Programming

Ensuring key elements of the technology transfer agreement is implemented
