What we expect from a Senior/Specialist profile here:

• Proactive Leadership: You don’t wait for the “card” to arrive fully refined. You investigate the business problem, conduct POCs, propose the agent architecture, choose the model, implement, test, and validate, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.

• Resilience and Autonomy: Complex integrations or lack of access are not impediments; they are steps. We expect you to collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Data Engineering teams to overcome barriers and enable your experiments in production.

• End-to-End View: You understand everything from raw data capture (via scraping, APIs, or Snowflake) to the impact of token costs and the final user experience (e.g., WhatsApp or internal systems).

• Technical Leadership:As a role model, you raise the bar for the team by introducing engineering best practices, suggesting new tools, and mentoring junior team members.

As an AI engineer, you will focus on:

• Developing intelligent autonomous agents using modern frameworks such as LangChain and Agno, creating workflows that combine multiple tools.

• Creating conversational agents with short- and long-term memory, ensuring traceability and personalization for the customer.

• Experiment with and integrate different LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, etc.), technically evaluating use cases and performance/cost trade-offs.

• Structure and optimize vector databases (ChromaDB, FAISS) and implement advanced RAG techniques, connecting agents to corporate data in Snowflake or internal systems.

• Intelligent extraction mechanisms: Use web scraping (Crawl4AI) and complex document parsing (Docling) to feed knowledge pipelines.

• Action Automation: Integrate agents with APIs so that they not only respond, but also perform tasks and update systems autonomously.

• Engineering Culture: Set up experimentation, versioning, and deployment pipelines (MLOps), always focusing on scalability and clean code.

• Work closely with business areas to understand needs and transform them into practical solutions using AI agents.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Technology.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI and data libraries such as Transformers, Agno/LangChain/LlamaIndex, and scikit-learn.

• Experience with frameworks focused on autonomous agents and tool architectures;

• Experience with NLP and a track record of integrating commercial LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Cohere) into production applications.

• Experience with API integrations (Requests and FastAPI), data manipulation, and database connections (preferably Snowflake).

• Experience with vector databases for semantic search and RAG.

• Software engineering best practices, collaborative versioning with GitHub, and scalable solution architecture.

• Knowledge of deploying LLMs in production and prompt engineering techniques.

Key strengths:

• Experience in Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning)

• Experience in MLOps for model lifecycle automation.

• Knowledge of LLM optimization (quantization, fine-tuning, etc.).

• Experience with conversational AI projects integrated with WhatsApp.

• Previous experience as a technical lead in multidisciplinary teams.
