
Business Applications Developer (Microsoft Power Platform & Business Intelligence) – Remote

About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Business Applications Developer to design, build, and maintain business applications, automation workflows, and business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.
This is a hands-on development role where you’ll transform manual business processes into scalable digital solutions through automation, reporting, and system integrations. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to build applications, dashboards, and workflows that improve operational efficiency and provide actionable business insights.

What You’ll Own
Power BI & Business Intelligence
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Build scalable data models using:
DAX
Power Query
Translate business data into meaningful operational insights.
Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and reporting accuracy.
Support executive and operational reporting initiatives.
Power Platform Development
Develop automated workflows using Power Automate.
Build internal business applications with Power Apps.
Create approval workflows, automation processes, and custom connectors.
Design scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
Continuously improve and maintain existing Power Platform applications.
Azure & Systems Integration
Build integrations using:
Azure Functions
REST APIs
Webhooks
Custom services
Connect Microsoft 365 applications with third-party platforms.
Develop secure and reliable automation pipelines.
Troubleshoot integration and workflow issues.
Microsoft Teams & AI Solutions
Develop Microsoft Teams applications and integrations.
Build bots and adaptive cards.
Work with Microsoft Copilot Studio to create AI-powered workflows and agents.
Enhance collaboration across the Microsoft ecosystem.
Security, Governance & Optimization
Follow Microsoft security and governance best practices.
Ensure applications remain secure, scalable, and reliable.
Monitor workflow performance and optimize automation efficiency.
Support compliance and access management requirements.
Collaboration & Documentation
Gather business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate operational needs into technical solutions.
Maintain technical documentation and workflow diagrams.

Experience
2–4 years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft technologies. Technical Skills
Strong Power BI experience, including:

Advanced Power Automate experience, including complex workflows and custom connectors.
Hands-on experience with Azure services and Azure Functions.
Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills.
Experience with:
