    MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Calibration Standards Analyst to join our team working remotely. This is a remote position.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    Review support plans and calibration procedures for the NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program

    Analyze METCAL initial outfitting of requirements and requirements for modernizations calibration equipment

    Train METCAL Program Managers in compliance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), NAVAIR METCAL fiscal year scheduling letter, Metrology Automated System for Uniform Recall and Reporting (MEASURE) Manual and Calibration Standards (CALSTD) management policies and processes

    Review metrology technical requirements list data, allowances instrument calibration procedures, and calibration equipment specifications and provide engineering recommendations for procedural or equipment changes to optimize calibration support

    Provide technical direction for repair and calibration of CALSTDs

    Analyze planning, scheduling, and coordination of field activities and equipment necessary to bench test instrument calibration procedure at Navy Calibration laboratories

    Analyze instrument calibration procedure bench test status, progress, issues and recommend solutions

    Perform analysis of Navy Metrology and Calibration data and provide recommendations for optimizing the logistics footprint of weapon system test and support equipment requiring calibration, metrology technical requirements list

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of Calibration experience, or an Associate’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience

    Experience and knowledge of METCAL program policy and procedural development

    Experience and knowledge of CALSTD management, calibration management, and calibration technical instructions

    Must have experience in NAMP, NAVAIR METCAL fiscal year scheduling letter, and MEASURE Manual

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications

    Ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics coverage, format, and style

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Knowledge of NAMP, NAVAIR METCAL fiscal year scheduling letter, and MEASURE Manual

    Efficient in analyzing, developing, and able to provide recommendations or solutions on various CALSTDs systems, dispositions, and other various documentation

    Clearance Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current or active Secret clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as the copy machine/computer printer.

    Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.

    Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $72,500.00-$120,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
