We are seeking an experienced Load Coverage Specialist/Dispatcher to join and help establish a high-performing dispatch team. This role requires strong expertise in load coverage, freight coordination, and dispatch operations. They are building a strong, experienced dispatch team and looking for a veteran in the load coverage field to lead operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end load coverage and dispatch operations
Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Track and monitor shipments, providing proactive updates to all stakeholders
Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving during transit
Communicate effectively with drivers, addressing issues and providing support
Use loadboard and TMS systems for freight management and dispatch
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers
Lead by example and potentially mentor junior team members as the team grows
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in load coverage, dispatch, or freight brokerage operations
Strong experience using loadboards, covering loads, and moving freight
Excellent communication skills with clear English proficiency (phone-based role)
Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Customer service mindset with a focus on relationship building
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong work ethic
Experience with standard TMS systems used for load coverage and dispatch
Leadership qualities and the ability to set standards for a growing team

Working schedule - Mon-Fri 7 am-5 pm CST
