
Job Description Summary
The AAJV Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader is responsible for creating global manufacturing process strategy, developing L4 and L5 manufacturing process standards, and ensuring their application in shops. This role works closely with engineering, shop, and quality teams to drive standardization and process improvement across L4 and L5 shops, resulting in improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through process optimization, technology adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
This is a leadership position, covering multiple sites within the Aero Alliance JV and reporting to the CEO
As the Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for creating global manufacturing process strategy, building process standards, and driving process improvement across both L4 and L5 shops
Drive line stop resolution including root cause identification, containment, and corrective action
Learn/leverage and standardize best practices within the AAJV, with our channels partners, and across the broader industry
Lead and mentor others through kaizen events that target sections of the processes or entire processes
Establish a formal cadence with each site for manufacturing engineering strategy, coaching, improvement plans, project tracking, and execution
Establish functional integration to aid in broader AAJV SQDC improvements
Specific focus areas include but are not limited to machine uptime, preventative maintenance, tooling, TAKT/cycle charts, router setup and creation, lift plans, and NPI process development
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience spanning Manufacturing Engineering and Shop Operations with a proven track record of implementing SQDC improvements
Experience creating a manufacturing engineering organization

Lean Shingijutsu experience For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $224,000 and $336,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
