Working under moderate supervision, the HL7 Integration Engineer will work with clients, engineering, solution architects and project managers to design, develop and implement complex integrated solutions.Essential Job Duties
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement and operationalize Merge software and integrated solutions.
Apply knowledge of Merge solutions, site workflows, and business requirements to optimize solution effectiveness.
Define, document, and validate solution requirements.
Design, develop, deploy, and support custom HL7 interfaces.
Design, develop, and deploy custom reports and application integrations.
Perform and support custom data imports and exports, including development of supporting tools.
Assist internal teams in resolving field and client issues.
Serve as a subject matter expert in sales calls and discussions with prospective clients.
Support Go-Live activities and transition solutions to the Support organization.
Deliver services in alignment with established implementation methodologies.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and regulatory systems.
Escalate product issues through the defect tracking system.
Engage in continuous learning to expand expertise in Merge products and related technologies.
Identify and communicate opportunities to improve client solutions and internal processes.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Knowledge & Experience
6 +years of Healthcare IT experience.
3 + years of experience configuring HL7 interface engines, including HL7, XML, and related integrations.
3 + years of experience configuring and supporting in-house applications.
Background in healthcare informatics and medical imaging workflows.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Project management experience, with the ability to manage a dynamic workload and align expectations with stakeholders.
Familiarity with source control systems, defect tracking systems, and reporting systems.

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
