We are seeking candidates based in Brazil to work as a Systems Architect on a project in the financial sector.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical discussions, ensuring clarity and purpose in architectural decisions for development teams;
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures, with a special focus on Azure and AWS;
Lead the planning and execution of complex workload migrations to the cloud;
Develop and implement standards, guidelines, and best practices for development (including diagnostics of legacy systems);
Act as a mentor in the use of AI accelerators to optimize engineering processes and business solutions;
Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and mentor team members;
Create and maintain HLAs (High-Level Architectures), ADRs, and technical specifications for various stakeholders.
Requirements for this role:
Designing high-performance and scalable architectures;
Experience with services such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and API Management;
Knowledge of Java 17+ and the Spring ecosystem (Boot/Cloud) for containerized microservices. (Python and Node.js are a plus);
Experience with EDA (Event-Driven Architecture), messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka), and SQL/NoSQL databases;
Experience with Terraform or Bicep;
Experience in environments with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging;
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP).
A Plus:
Hands-on experience migrating complex systems from on-premises to the cloud;
Familiarity with AI tools applied to development and architecture;
Understanding of Design Patterns, SOA, and Microservices.
