    At TNTP, fundraising means strategicallyidentifyingand cultivating relationships with organizations and individuals that will allow us to help as many students aspossible accessopportunities for upward mobility. With a total portfolio of over $20M in grants and donations, TNTP leverages philanthropic revenue to pilot new work, scale proven approaches, and influence the field. TNTP has a strongtrack recordand deep relationships with institutional funders, especially in the PK-12 education field. The Fundraising Team has expanded in recent years to keep pace with overall organizational growth and increased opportunities to engage local and regional funders nationwide. While there isample opportunityto expand its relationships with institutionalgrant makers, TNTP is also interested in diversifying its philanthropic revenue to include individual,corporateand other sources of philanthropic funding in the coming years.

    WHAT YOU’LLDO

    TheManager, Fundraising & Government Grantsis critical to ensuring the effective execution of TNTP’s philanthropic strategy byleveragingimpeccable project management skills to ensure the organization effectively cultivates andstewardsrelationships with grantmaking institutions and donors towards achieving its ambitious goals for growth and impact.This roleworks closely with the Partner and Directors on the Fundraising team, as well as with members of TNTP’s Consulting and Central Operations teams, to support fundraising processes andgrantsmanagement operations.

    Specific responsibilitiesmayinclude, but are not limited to:

    • Support thetimelysubmission of grant proposals, including the development of supplementary materials, through strong project management.

    • Manage the grant agreement reviewand signingprocess=

    • Track grant payments and donations and develop acknowledgement letters.

    • Forecast and manage all grant reporting processes, timelines, andinformation-gatheringefforts by working closely with internal staff across the organization at all levels=to deliver high-quality grant reports.

    • Copyedit andsubmitgrant proposals and reports.

    • Support the FundraisingandGovernment Grants Team’sknowledge management activities (e.g.,codifyingand documenting grants and donation management processes,maintainingresourcesin TNTP’s internalSharePoint hub, collecting templates and exemplars, capturing best practices, creating proposal and reporting templates, etc.).

    • Develop solutions tograntsmanagement challenges as they arise.

    • Conduct regular audits of Salesforce data to ensure our philanthropic portfolio is accurately recorded in the system, including opportunity stage, revenue, and important documents such as proposals and budgets, to support TNTP’s annual audit.

    • Conduct research on current and prospective funders.

    • Provide general writing, editing, and other funder communications support.

    What Youhave

    Qualifications

    • At least three years of relevant fundraising and/or project management experience

    • Familiarity with education issues, research, and policy (preferred)

    • Experience using Salesforce (preferred)

    • Strong attention to detail and deadline driven

    • Excellent organizational and project management skills

    • The ability to learn quickly, adhere to tight deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task effectively

    • Evidence of strong cross-team collaboration skills and the ability to manage up

    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

    • The ability toidentifychallenges and creatively work to find solutions and operationalize them

    • Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity

    • Strong word processing, page layout, and basic graphic design skills (proficiencyin MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointrequired)

    • The ability to work effectively, both independently and with others at all levels of the organization, and to consistently display a high-level of professionalism in all interactions

    What We Offer

    The salary range for this position is $58,675 - $88,012. New hires can typically expect a starting salary between the range minimum and the salary rangemidpoint ($58,675.00-$73,343.50), in alignment with experience, qualifications, and our commitment to equity in compensation.
