Part time Web Developer / WordPress VA | Remote | PH Based | Working US Timezone

    CoWorq
    Part-time
    RemoteUSD 20,800 - 27,040GeneralToday

    About this role

    What to Expect

This role is flexible depending on your availability and what works best for both sides:

Hours: Part-time. May range between 10-20 hours a week to start. This will be finalized upon VA selection. This will have strong potential for hours increase if the partnership goes well. Rate: $10-13 USD per hour

    About the Role

We're looking for a skilled WordPress developer who can hit the ground running and take real ownership of their work. This isn't a role where you'll be walked through every task or handed a checklist each morning — it's a role for someone who genuinely loves solving problems, takes pride in clean, functional websites, and knows their way around WordPress well enough to handle just about anything that comes up. If you're the kind of person who sees a broken site and immediately starts diagnosing rather than waiting to be told what to do, you'll fit right in here.

What You'll Be Doing- Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting WordPress websites using the Divi builder

    • Writing and editing HTML and PHP to handle custom work and resolve technical issues

    • Managing plugins, updates, and site health across a portfolio of 60+ active client websites — both e-commerce and brochure sites

    • Independently owning projects from start to finish with minimal oversight

    • Creating SOPs and process documentation as the working relationship develops and trust is established

    • Occasionally applying graphic design skills where relevant (a bonus, not a requirement) What We're Looking For- WordPress and Divi expertise— this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have.

    • Solid coding ability in HTML and PHP, with the confidence to troubleshoot and build custom solutions

    • Proven experience managing multiple client sites simultaneously without dropping the ball

    • Someone who is genuinely self-sufficient— you troubleshoot first, ask questions second

    • A portfolio that demonstrates your work — claims without evidence won't move you forward in this process

    • Comfort working across a high volume of active sites without needing constant direction

    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

    • Note:This role includes a practical "show and tell" interview where you'll be asked to demonstrate your skills live. Please only apply if you're confident in your abilities and ready to show your work.

You'll be working independently in a remote environment with a client who values competence, reliability, and clear communication over micromanagement. Expect real work, real responsibility, and a working relationship built on mutual trust over time.

If this sounds like the kind of role where you'd thrive, we'd love to see what you can do — go ahead and apply, and come ready to show your work.Originally posted on Himalayas
