PR Coordinator
Early-Career Operators Welcome to Apply
Seeking.com | Full-Time, Exempt, Remote (US) | Reports to: Senior PR Manager
About the Role
Seeking.com is the world's largest premium dating platform, and we are in the middle of the most important chapter of our brand transformation. The PR Coordinator is the entry seat onto our in-house PR and Communications team, reporting to the Senior PR Manager. This is one of the best roles in the company for a hungry, early-career operator who wants to learn PR by doing it, in a small team that ships fast.
You will not be making the coffee. From week one you will be drafting pitches, tracking media coverage, supporting the casting of Seeking members for press interviews, building media lists, and learning how to pitch journalists from someone doing it at a senior level. You will also be on-call to step in front of a camera or microphone yourself when needed.
This is the right role for someone two years out of school (or with one to two years of PR or journalism experience) who is hungry, organized, AI-native, and willing to do the work. The job is not glamorous every day. Done well, it is the fastest way to become a PR Specialist or Senior PR Manager in three to five years.
Who Should Apply
We care about wiring more than resume. We are especially open to candidates from these backgrounds:
New PR agency hires (Assistant Account Executive to Account Executive) looking for in-house experience
Recent journalism or communications graduates with one or two internships and a portfolio of clips
Early-career marketing coordinators ready to specialize in PR and communications
Newsroom interns or junior reporters ready to cross to the PR side
Self-taught communicators with a strong portfolio and a clear voice, even if the resume is non-linear If you are early in your career, hungry, organized, and would rather be useful on day one than wait for someone to onboard you, this role is for you.
