What Your Role Will Entail
The Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge where high-performance AI and privacy intersect. You won’t just be building another backend; you’ll be shaping the future of secure intelligence. In this role, you’ll help solve the industry’s most pressing challenge: how to run powerful AI models while maintaining absolute cryptographic certainty and data isolation. Joining our team means pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and ensuring that the next generation of enterprise AI is secure by design.
We’re looking for an innovative Software Engineer to join our secure AI team. Instead of simply following a manual, you’ll take ownership of the integration and microservices architecture that brings our highly secure inference platform to life. Your mission is to implement sophisticated attestation mechanisms, protecting critical model weights and execution boundaries. This is your opportunity to turn complex security protocols into a seamless, high-performance reality.
Responsibilities:
Develop and stabilize microservices, connecting backend data flows with advanced containerized inference execution environments to ensure a continuous data flow.
Secure Endpoint Development: Design, expose, and optimize stable APIs for the secure ingestion of models, system lifecycle events, and inference requests.
Integrate security sidecars and automated provisioning modules that execute asymmetric decryption protocols (e.g., 4096-bit RSA) and cryptographic signature validation to facilitate the release of assets through attestation.
Networking and Gateway Routing: Configure low-latency sidecar proxies and API gateways to maintain end-to-end encrypted paths using strict mutual authentication (mTLS).
Maintain and update cloud-native application configurations (such as Helm charts) to orchestrate isolated container environments across distributed runtime clusters.
Requirements:
Core Systems Programming: Professional proficiency in Python, Rust, or C/C++ applied to high-performance backend services, API frameworks, or system microservices.
DevOps & Automation Agility: Familiarity with building automated continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, container orchestration scripts, and automated validation frameworks to facilitate continuous software updates.
Desirable:
Fundamentals of Applied Cryptography: Knowledge of digital certificate management, public key infrastructure (PKI), asymmetric encryption tools (GPG), and transport layer security protocols (TLS 1.3/mTLS).
Hardware Security Fundamentals: Conceptual or practical familiarity with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), confidential computing isolation, or remote attestation concepts.
Cloud-Native AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience working with high-performance inference engines and service frameworks (such as vLLM or KServe) in containerized environments.
