About the role
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager at UCAS will be the Subject Matter Expert for the platform, responsible for owning, optimising, and evolving the organisation’s use of Marketing Cloud Engagement. This role will be responsible for driving change management initiatives, ensure user adoption and collaborating closely with marketing teams, IT and cross-functional teams to embed Marketing Cloud in a best practice approach for its usage.
You will support business users to put customers and students at the heart of our marketing strategies, to give students a seamless experience across channels and inspire and support their choices throughout their studying life and beyond.
Key accountabilities:
· Act as the owner and subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) · Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing Marketing Cloud support, governance, and enhancements, working with CRM, Marketing, Digital and IT stakeholders. · Define and maintain best practice across data management, automation, journeys, and campaign execution · Ensure platform governance, documentation, and compliance with GDPR and data protection standards · Lead and develop a team of SFMC professionals.

Skills, qualifications, and experience
· 5+ years’ experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, with at least 1 year in an implementation or platform management role
· Salesforce Marketing cloud engagement email specialist certification.
· Salesforce Marketing cloud admin certification.
· Experience in team management and development.
· Experience of working with development teams.
· Proven experience delivering large-scale digital marketing or CRM implementation projects
· Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, campaign automation, audience segmentation, and data privacy best practices
· Experience leading user adoption, training, and change initiatives
· Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
· Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
· Email automation and campaign management experience (this includes basic understanding of HTML, CSS, SQL).
· Familiarity with connected Salesforce Clouds such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Desirable
· Familiarity with other Salesforce technology such as Data360, Salesforce Personalization, and Agentforce · Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification · Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification.
· Familiarity with newer Salesforce Marketing cloud platforms, such as Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced/Growth

Salary up to £60,000
