Senior Associate (m/f/d) - Lawyer (m/f/d) in the NPO sector

what awaits you with us

• Together with your team colleagues, you will take on legal and project-related tax advice for an exciting range of clients in the NPO sector. This includes:

• Foundations and associations

• Non-profit GmbHs and AGs

• Non-profit, charitable and church organizations as well as professional associations

• You work on projects of various sizes (e.g. founding of subsidiaries and supporting transformation processes) and prepare expert opinions, statements and solution approaches for our clients

• Preparation of bylaws, business regulations and contracts (especially cooperation agreements) are also part of your responsibilities

• Assessment and review of complex legal and tax matters and classification in connection with the tax status as NPO and VAT law

• Exchange and feedback during regular meetings with partners and the rest of the legal department as well as interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues from the operational tax department 

• Establishment and deepening of your own advisor personality in your core area of expertise

desired profile

• You have obtained your license to practice law and bring at least 4 years of relevant professional experience from the law firm field

• You may even hold a specialist law title or a dual qualification as a tax consultant

• You are well acquainted with the focus areas of non-profit status and tax law

• You can handle complex contract structures and communicate them in an understandable way

• You enjoy direct client contact and are accustomed to managing your mandates independently. You convince with your commitment as well as friendly and confident demeanor.

• You are a team player and yet enjoy working independently, in a structured and careful manner
