Purpose
The Software Engineer (Agile) is responsible for the continuous development and enhancement of the internal Telekom application VIS-Tool (Vertragsbestands-Informations-System). The role focuses on modular expansion and automation of order request processes within the CVS/CPS environment, replacing manual Excel-based workflows with a modern, web-server-based architecture to enable faster, more efficient, and error-free contract and product processing.
Team / Project Description
The VIS-Tool is a business-critical internal application supporting multiple Telekom business units in managing framework contracts and product orders. The development team works in an agile, cross-functional setup, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, system interfaces, and internal microservices to deliver reliable and scalable process automation solutions.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Continuously develop and enhance the VIS-Tool application in an agile environment.
Design and implement modular extensions to automate order request processes (Abrufaufträge) in the CVS/CPS landscape.
Replace manual, Excel-based workflows with scalable, web-based solutions.
Implement functional changes across multiple application modules.
Develop backend and frontend components using Java, JavaScript, and SQL with Oracle databases.
Design technical solutions at module and component level within existing system architectures.
Integrate VIS-Tool with internal microservices, contract systems, and master data sources.
Provide technical consulting and advisory support to business stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business teams in cross-functional agile setups.
Contribute to technical documentation and overall system transparency.
Support the stability, maintainability, and continuous improvement of the application.
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
have strong software engineering experience in enterprise application environments
have hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, and SQL / Oracle DB – Advanced
have experience working in agile development environments
have a solid understanding of business process automation and software modularization
have the ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions within existing architectures
are comfortable implementing small to medium functional changes across multiple modules
have a structured, solution-oriented, and analytical working style
communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
enjoy working in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments
Experience with telecom systems or contract-based process environments
Exposure to project management methods or coordination roles
Experience with workflow-driven applications integrating multiple interfaces

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3100€ /brutto.
