As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our dedicated Lovet team as aVeterinary Sourcing Specialistto play a critical role in building a best-in-class pipeline of veterinary talent. In this role, you will lead proactive sourcing efforts, identify and engage high-quality candidates, and partner closely with recruiters to support hiring across our growing network of hospitals. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both the strategic and hands-on aspects of sourcing—combining creativity, data, and relationship-building to find exceptional talent.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Sourcing
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage veterinarians (DVMs) and key hospital support staff
Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, events, and industry channels to reach passive candidates Pipeline Development
Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
Proactively engage talent to support current and future hiring needs Candidate Engagement & Qualification
Conduct initial outreach and assess candidate interest and alignment
Present qualified candidates and leads to the recruiting team Data & Systems Management
Utilize CRM/ATS platforms to track candidate activity, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity
Leverage sourcing tools, including Phenom, to identify, engage, and nurture high-quality veterinary talent pipelines
Analyze sourcing effectiveness and optimize outreach strategies Market Intelligence
Stay informed on veterinary industry trends, talent market conditions, and competitive landscape
Use insights to refine sourcing strategies and improve outcomes Collaboration
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring stakeholders to support the full recruitment lifecycle
Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes and best practices What You Bring
3+ years of sourcing experience (veterinary or healthcare recruiting strongly preferred)
Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies
Strong proficiency with CRM and/or ATS systems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and levels
High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset

Pay Range: Annual Salary $85-95k with bonus opportunity
