What You’ll Be Doing
With www.techpilot.com—our digital sales platform for suppliers and buyers—we create complete market transparency. As an established company with nearly 25 years of experience and 35 employees, our goal is to build optimal partnerships in the manufacturing industry. We are Techpilot—looking ahead, passionate about what we do, and always open to new ideas. That’s what drives us!
For our buyers, using Techpilot is completely free of charge. The focus of this role is on building new contacts within the manufacturing industry, connecting them strategically, and introducing them to our platform. Leads are generated by our marketing team, so you can build on a solid foundation of prospects.
In this sales and consulting-oriented role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our technical buyers in the manufacturing industry. With your technical expertise and strong communication skills, you’ll inspire them with the many benefits of Techpilot—a platform that efficiently connects buyers and suppliers and digitizes the procurement process. You’ll also review technical drawings for accuracy.
Your main responsibilities include:
Actively reaching out to and supporting buyers who show interest in Techpilot.
Presenting our platform over the phone and in online meetings: You’ll explain how Techpilot, as a B2B marketplace, turns buyers and suppliers into long-term partners.
Advising our customers on the platform’s applications, benefits, and best practices.
Building and maintaining customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term usage.
Reviewing requested drawings and advising buyers on the quality and clarity of their requests
What makes you stand out
You can convince decision-makers (CEOs and purchasing managers)
You have vocational training or a degree, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
You have a genuine passion for technology and manufacturing processes
You are communicative and outgoing, work independently, and manage your contacts on your own initiative
Very good written and spoken German and English skills are essential; any additional foreign languages are a plus!
