Urdu Transcriptionist for AI Training

Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate, polished Urdu transcriptions from audio and video content. This remote contract role applies deep Urdu language knowledge, including grammar, spelling, colloquial expressions, regional dialects, and contemporary usage, to create high-quality training data.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe Urdu audio and video with exceptional accuracy and close attention to linguistic nuance.
• Review and improve existing Urdu transcriptions for clarity, consistency, and fidelity to the spoken content.
• Annotate transcripts with required metadata and speaker details in accordance with project guidelines.
• Apply Urdu grammar, spelling, and colloquial knowledge to deliver polished, error-free work.
• Collaborate remotely with linguistic experts and project managers to resolve questions and improve processes.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally throughout project interactions.
• Meet transcription quality standards and submission timelines.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Urdu proficiency, including strong command of regional dialects and contemporary usage.
• Experience with Urdu transcription, translation, or linguistic annotation projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to error-free transcription.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide feedback and explanations.
• Familiarity with digital transcription tools and multimedia-content management practices.
• Ability to use remote collaboration platforms to coordinate with project participants.
• Adaptability and interest in language technology and data-annotation work.

Work Terms

Compensation
