About the Program
Y Combinator is the world’s most influential startup accelerator. It has launched companies such as Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Reddit, and Coinbase. YC invests $500,000 in each selected startup in exchange for a 7% equity stake. The program lasts 3 months (online or in San Francisco) and includes intensive mentoring, access to the YC alumni network, and Demo Day in front of the world’s top investors. It is open to founders from any country—there are several Latin American and Peruvian alumni. Teams with an MVP or a very clear idea are encouraged to apply.
