Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, a brainchild of two ambitious Brown University students, sprouted its roots in 2013 with a lofty goal: to improve the lives of those battling neurodegenerative diseases by addressing the root cause. This audacious vision and a healthy dose of curiosity led to the creation of their first commercial product, now approved in the U.S. and conditionally approved in Canada.

With a global squad of 350 employees and counting, Amylyx has established a strong presence in the fight against neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, and Wolfram Syndrome. The company's headquarters are nestled in the heart of Cambridge, MA, US and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Celebrating Milestones, Embracing Challenges

Amylyx isn't just about setting ambitious goals, it's about achieving them. The company recently celebrated the U.S. FDA approval of RELYVRIO™ in September 2022 and Health Canada's conditional approval of ALBRIOZA™ in June 2022. Not one to rest on its laurels, Amylyx is currently awaiting a review of AMX0035 with the European Medicines Agency.
