Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) is the leading provider of services and products that enable Deaf and hard of hearing Canadians to overcome barriers to participation. It is the largest and only accredited organization of its kind in North America, with an 86-year history. CHS achieved Accreditation with Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada in 2021, becoming the first national organization serving Deaf and hard of hearing Canadians to earn this distinction. The organization provides a range of services including real-time language transcription (CART services) and other accessibility solutions to support communication between Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals.
