The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to equipping Americans with skills to communicate and collaborate across lines of difference. CDI works with U.S. colleges and universities by providing co-curricular programming for students, professional development for faculty and staff, and strategic guidance to institutional leadership. The organization aims to foster constructive dialogue at every level of educational institutions and create conditions for lasting organizational change. Co-founded by psychologist Jonathan Haidt, author of The Righteous Mind and The Anxious Generation, CDI also develops products such as an AI dialogue coach designed to support learner experience and dialogue skills.
