FRIENDS of Broomfield is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Broomfield community. The organization provides person-centered supports that promote independence and choice for individuals with disabilities, while serving as a support and informational network for families to ensure lifelong supports for their loved ones. FRIENDS works to promote acceptance and understanding of disabilities within the community through awareness and education initiatives, and facilitates opportunities for inclusive living. Governed by a Board of Directors representing various community aspects, the organization is committed to ensuring individuals with disabilities have a voice in the community and access to the resources they need.
