Gifted Savings is a national nonprofit that combines gifting real-world investment assets—a diversified $1,000 portfolio of stocks, bonds, Bitcoin, and a CD—with financial education for high school seniors. Students track their portfolio through a web app and complete financial literacy lessons tied directly to their investments, gaining practical understanding of investing and wealth creation. When students turn 18 and complete the program, their investment portfolio is transferred to them. Founded by serial entrepreneur Farhad Mohit, the organization operates on a bold philanthropic model where patrons cover all operating expenses, ensuring 100% of donor gifts fund student accounts.
