Higher Heights is the only national organization exclusively dedicated to harnessing Black women's collective political power to elect Black women, influence elections, and advance progressive policies. Operating as a 501(c)4 organization with a sister 501(c)3 entity called Higher Heights Leadership Fund, the organization focuses on political engagement and representation at all levels of government. Higher Heights works to expand Black women's representation through candidate recruitment, electoral support, political intelligence, and partnership building with aligned organizations and stakeholders.
