Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) is an NGO that sits at the nexus of participatory mapping, community-led development, humanitarian response, and open data technology. The organization supports a global community of thousands of volunteers who use maps and open data for humanitarian response and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. HOT works with humanitarian and development partners including the Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières, UN agencies, and governments to map in solidarity with those affected by or at risk of disaster, providing aid workers with critical maps and data for lifesaving work.
