Muon Space Overview
About Muon Space
If you've ever looked up at the night sky and thought, "I wish I could be a part of that!" then Muon Space might just be your cosmic calling. This company is all about reaching for the stars... quite literally. They're at the forefront of satellites, advanced sensors, business intelligence, and climate science. Their mission? To help humanity close the loop on climate change.
From satellite missions to modeling, data analytics, and actionable insights, Muon Space is all about measuring, understanding, and predicting Earth’s complex, coupled systems. They believe that this is not only a great business opportunity, but also key to leaving future generations a livable, productive, and healthy planet.
A Geographically Diverse Company
Muon Space is as expansive as the universe they're exploring. They're a geographically diverse company, seeking talent from every corner of the Earth. However, due to the hands-on nature of their work, some roles do require candidates to be onsite at their Starbase in Mountain View, CA.
Equal Opportunity
At Muon, the mission embraces the entire planet and they believe their team should too. They're dedicated to creating a diverse and dynamic company and workforce. They believe in equal employment opportunity for all, regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, age, national origin, citizenship, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or gender identity.
Compensation and Benefits
Sure, at Muon Space the stars are the limit, but they also understand the importance of earthly needs. That's why they offer a total compensation package that includes not just salary, but also equity compensation and benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan, life insurance, and an employee development program. They also offer paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and parental leave.
ITAR/EAR Requirements
Just like the laws of physics, Muon Space also has to abide by the laws of the land. To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
So, if you're ready to reach for the stars, Muon Space is ready to launch your career into the stratosphere!
