This role is focused on generating revenue from new platforms, analytics, services, and data provider logos. The Account Executive is responsible for taking accounts through prospecting, discovery, qualification, proposal generation, and contracting. The role is quota-carrying and will report to the Sales Leader of the Emerging Ecosystem vertical as part of the commercial team. You Will:

  • Generate revenue-based relationships with new logos that expand Datavant’s ecosystem
  • Develop an executive-level understanding of accounts through research, prospecting, and discovery and qualification
  • Structure deals that align with customers’ value drivers and create mutual value realization over time
  • Forecast pipeline accurately and effectively to guide business outlook
  • Manage multiple stakeholders’ objectives to maintain deal momentum
  • Navigate procurement and legal processes at prospective clients in an efficient manner
  • Work closely and cross-functionally with Implementations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data Sourcing, and Customer Success teams to develop programs and solutions that establish, expand, and deepen customer relationships
  • Identify and iterate on new commercial ideas and offerings to drive productivity, scalability, and discovery of best practices as we 10x the number of customers in the next few years
  • Ensure that the organization receives consistent feedback regarding prospects’ and customers’ needs and objectives

What You Will Bring To The Table:

  • Through personal networking and outreach develop qualified opportunities
  • Obsession with creating value for customers through understanding their business drivers
  • Passionate about solving complicated problems
  • Ability to identify the goals and desires of multiple stakeholders. Desire to overcome organizational inertia to drive decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to stay calm and focused under pressure of deadlines and delivering on targets
  • Demonstrated history of making decisions and focusing on incomplete information and ambiguity

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • 5+ years in quota-carrying roles with at least 3 of those focused on enterprise deals
  • Experience at or working with middleware solutions and/or data-focused companies
  • Experience in the marketing and advertising space and has domain expertise in the ad tech industry
  • Experience selling to platforms, data providers, and agencies
  • Experience or interest in one or more of the following domains:
  • Application of real-world data for research & development, including but not limited to health economics and outcomes research
  • Commercial and marketing targeting/analytics in the pharmaceutical and life sciences space
  • Digital therapeutics and their uptake by patients, providers, and payers
  • Development of risk-based health insurance plans

The estimated salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 plus applicable commissions.
