Our mission is to empower building materials suppliers with great technology. There are over $1,000,000,000,000 of building materials bought in the US every year, and many of these transactions happen in on-prem point-of-sale systems. We want to bring these transactions online, enabling better experiences for contractors and homeowners alike.

This Role

What you'll achieve with us ๐Ÿฅ‡

You'll be on the ground floor of a high-growth company:

  • You'll operate out of the Nashville, St. Louis or Memphis area and lead the entire sales process in your region from lead generation to closing. This process is primarily outbound and outside. Adam, Clara, Kyle, and Matt currently do this role in other regions.

  • You'll earn a $54K base salary as well as commission for a total of $144K on-target earnings (OTE). In addition, as part of your total compensation, you will receive a generous equity package.

  • You're excited to close deals and carry a quota.

  • You plan to live in your territory for at least the next year - through July 2025.

  • You have a U.S. drivers license.

  • You're excited to travel in your region ~75% of the time.

  • You love building strong relationships.

  • You have experience in sales - especially hunting new business and closing.

  • You have familiarity with construction and building materials.

Interview process

  • Intro Call (20 min): Simply for us to get to know one another!

  • Meet the team (2.5 hours total including 15 min breaks in b/w): A remote interview focused on quick learning:

    • Top-of-funnel (30 min): Booking prospect visits with Matt.

    • Demoing (30 min): Learn the product and demo it with Joe.

    • Negotiating (30 min): Mock contract negotiations with Kyle.

    • Culture (15 min): Discussing examples of hard work and learning with Clara.

  • Chat with Nick (30 min): Discussing your experience and goals with Nick.

  14. Max (Product Manager): studied neuroscience at Dartmouth; worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and as a PM for RabbitHole; has broken his neck exactly one time (and coincidentally has tried parkour exactly one time ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ)
