**The role:**As our Account Manager , you will oversee a designated Client portfolio, serving as the primary commercial point of contact for our clients. Your role is pivotal in ensuring their success on our global marketplace by facilitating regular transactions on the platform. We are looking for someone who is proactive, independent, and organized, capable of maintaining positive and professional relationships with all clients. As an Account Manager, you should be fearless in your approach, ready to actively engage in daily calls with a clear drive to make clients successful and provide unwavering support.

Location: This is an on-site position in Hamburg however, being part of the US market, you will work in the US time zone (14:00 CET to 23:00 CET). We are located in the heart of Hamburg and would like you to be based here for this position. However, if you are not in Hamburg already, xChange offers a relocation package and has partnered with Localyze to assist with work permit-related topics to make it possible.

Requirements

Your Impact:

  • Deliver an exceptional experience by understanding and aligning with our clients' business goals
  • Forge and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing satisfaction and revenue generation
  • Embed xChange into clients' daily operations, making it an integral part of their business and driving increased transactions
  • Develop a sustainable portfolio and communicate strategies that enhance ROI and engagement
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure support for your accounts.
  • Regularly engage with clients through phone calls and meetings

  • Prior experience managing large SMB portfolios, ideally within a Marketplaces/SaaS/logistics environment
  • Expert in developing and nurturing professional B2B relationships, understanding the nuances of client needs and expectations.
  • A true hunter at heart, enthusiastic about jumping on calls daily, actively seeking out opportunities, and relentlessly pursuing new business potential
  • A proactive self-starter characterized by a high-energy drive and a hands-on approach, ready to dive into challenges and drive rapid growth
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication
