Job Role: AI Business Transformation Specialist
Compensation range: $2,500 AUD - $3,500 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: An Australian company specialising in health, safety, and productivity solutions for industrial and commercial environments. They design, manufacture, and supply products that protect workers and improve operational efficiency across a range of industries.
The business is growing and looking for a hands-on AI and business improvement specialist to help their existing team become more productive, remove repetitive work, and build scalable systems across the organisation.
Role Overview: This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on identifying opportunities to improve the way the business operates through AI, automation, and better systems. You will work across departments to streamline processes, implement new tools, and help the team work smarter. This role suits someone who is technically capable, naturally curious about emerging AI tools, and motivated by making real operational improvements.
Requirements
Lead the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI tools across the business
Build and configure Copilot Agents, custom GPTs, and AI-powered workflows tailored to business needs
Map existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved workflows
Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments to support collaboration and knowledge sharing
Optimise and automate CRM workflows to improve sales, service, and operational processes
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that give the leadership team clear visibility on performance
Create and manage SOPs, process documentation, and internal knowledge bases
Research, evaluate, and recommend new AI tools and technologies relevant to the business
Champion continuous improvement across departments and support change management as new systems are introduced
Deliver training and support to team members to drive adoption of new tools and ways of working
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
Experience building automated workflows and integrating business systems
Demonstrated ability in process mapping, business analysis, or continuous improvement
Confident building dashboards and reports that translate data into clear business insights
Comfortable with CRM platforms and able to optimise them for better team productivity
Strong documentation skills with experience creating SOPs and knowledge management systems
Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Self-directed and proactive, comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technology, with a track record of staying across new tools and applying them practically
Nice to have:
Experience working with Australian businesses or international clients
Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) or low-code/no-code platforms (Zapier, Make.com)
Background in business improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments
Tools & Platforms:
Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, ChatGPT / AI platforms, CRM systems, workflow and automation tools.

Monthly retainer paid directly
