    About this role

The AI Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering AI-enabled initiatives across corporate functions. Working at the intersection of technology and operations, this individual will manage the full project lifecycle for internal AI deployments — from intake and scoping through change management and post-launch review. This role is central to Argano’s strategy of operationalizing AI responsibly and efficiently within a professional services environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Project Planning & Execution

    • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with functional stakeholders and technical teams.

    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports for all active AI initiatives.

    • Manage project budgets, resource allocations, and vendor engagements as applicable.

    • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. AI Initiative Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for internal AI projects, including process automation, AI-assisted analytics, document intelligence, and productivity tooling.

    • Coordinate with IT, legal, compliance, and business unit leads to ensure AI solutions are implemented securely and in alignment with firm policy.

    • Maintain a prioritized AI project backlog in coordination with the Corporate Operations leadership team.

    • Support vendor evaluation, pilot design, and proof-of-concept scoping for emerging AI tools under consideration. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

    • Facilitate working sessions, steering committee updates, and executive briefings on project status and strategic progress; adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership.

    • Partner with change management resources to drive adoption of new AI-enabled workflows. Governance & Standards

    • Uphold PMO standards for documentation, project intake, reporting, and lifecycle governance.

    • Contribute to the development and refinement of AI project templates, playbooks, and best practices.

    • Ensure proper documentation of AI use cases, data considerations, and operational handoffs.

    MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years leading technology or digital transformation initiatives.

    • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects in a professional services, consulting, or corporate environment.

    • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing and delivering presentations, executive briefings, and strategic updates to C-suite and senior leadership audiences.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.

    • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, large language models, or enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, UiPath, or similar).

    • Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, or data privacy considerations in an enterprise context.

    • Prior experience within a PMO or COO/Operations function.

    Skill Requirements

    • Project Management Skills: Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and documentation practices.

    • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to keep internal stakeholders informed on project status and issues.

    • Organization: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain accurate records, and keep project artifacts up to date.

    • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software such as JIRA, Smartsheet, or ADO.

    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues early and bring them to the right people promptly.

    • Attention to Detail: Produces accurate documentation and tracks task status with care.

    • Escalation Awareness: Understands when and how to escalate issues internally, and communicates blockers to senior staff in a timely manner.
