As an Alimak Raise Mechanic with Dumas Contracting Ltd, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Alimak raise equipment used in underground development activities. You will support raise crews by ensuring equipment reliability and safe operation while working in a fast paced underground environment.
Requirements
Valid Ontario Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic license or equivalent trade certification
Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Alimak mechanic or on raise equipment
Demonstrated experience maintaining and troubleshooting Alimak systems is required
Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification or equivalent
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills in underground mining environments
Ability to work safely at heights and in confined underground spaces
