We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Architect with proven experience in producing planning drawings, floor plans, elevation layouts, and sections for UK-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of UK building codes and spatial optimization strategies, and be comfortable collaborating remotely with clients and design teams.
You will be responsible for:
Creating proposed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, and sections
Maximizing space efficiency while maintaining aesthetic and functional integrity
Communicating with UK-based clients via email and virtual meetings
Ensuring compliance with UK planning regulations and standards
Preparing technical documentation and visualizations for client presentations
Collaborating with engineers and other consultants for integrated design solutions 🎯 Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural planning and elevation layout
Demonstrated experience working with UK clients or firms
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, Vray)
Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning policies, and space standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Portfolio showcasing relevant UK-based projects
Preferred:
Master’s degree or licensure in Architecture
Experience with BIM modeling and MEP coordination
Familiarity with UK planning application processes
