    About the Company

ROAR is redefining hydration for a new generation. In a category that has become overly serious and hardcore performance obsessed, ROAR stands for something different: hydration that is expressive, effortless, and rooted in real life. Built for people who move, connect, and live life out loud, ROAR delivers complete hydration with vitamins, antioxidants, and electrolytes - all with just 20 calories and 3g of sugar or less per bottle.

More than a beverage, ROAR is a cultural signal - bright, approachable, and fun. It rejects the intensity and rules of traditional hydration in favor of something more human: joy, spontaneity, and the kind of movement that doesn’t need a scoreboard. This positioning has resonated with consumers and retailers alike driving strong momentum across both natural and conventional retail, where ROAR continues to expand rapidly and now ranks as the #2 brand in the natural channel within the enhanced water category.

    Role Overview

ROAR Organic is seeking a hands-on Sales Leader to drive profitable growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is responsible for leading all sales activities across grocery customers in the New York Metro area, including new business development, key account management, and executing data-driven strategies to expand market share and increase brand awareness.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of scaling high-growth brands profitably, with experience managing both established and emerging grocery retailers, as well as partners. They are highly relationship-driven, resourceful, and action-oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills. This leader excels at building and implementing the strategies, tools, and processes needed to support sustained growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver against Annual Operating Plan targets, including gross/net sales and trade spend objectives.

    • Grow distribution and topline revenue with a focus on regional and independent retailers.

    • Execute customer sales strategies, promotional calendars, and account plans.

    • Leverage distributer incentive programs and independent retailer promotional opportunities to drive sales.

    • Conduct weekly route rides with distributor sales representatives to support execution and identify growth opportunities.

    • Develop and own a field execution strategy based on weekly trend reports, promotional planners, and merchandising opportunities.

    • Manage and execute trade spend programs to drive profitable growth and promotional effectiveness.

    • Leverage syndicated data (IRI, SPINS) to communicate compelling, retailer-specific presentations.

    • Track, measure, and analyze performance metrics, including ROI.

    • Represent the brand at regional and national trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 2 years of CPG sales experience.

    • Strong understanding of the beverage and grocery landscape, including retailers and distributors.

    • Experience executing sales planning initiatives.

    • Creative, solutions-oriented problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

    • Thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with syndicated data tools (SPINS, IRI) preferred.

    • Ability to travel extensively as needed.

    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
