The Opportunity

As an Account Manager with focus on Business Development, you will apply best-in-class pipeline generation techniques to identify opportunities among existing customers within the Digital Native and fast-growing startup segment.
In addition, your responsibilities will include identifying strategic opportunities and effectively managing transactional deals. This involves activities such as solution pitching, deal management, negotiations, and successfully closing deals. Leveraging your passion and expertise in both DoiT's services and the customer's chosen technology, you will play a key role in driving business expansion.

The position provides a unique opportunity to engage and manage a diverse range of customers spanning multiple industries. Additionally, it offers the chance to interact and collaborate across the entire DoiT organization.

Responsibilities

    • Deliver against assigned quota and pipeline goals while delivering an outstanding experience to our existing customers.
    • Take a data-driven approach to cover a large number of customers to identify new opportunities and high-growth accounts.
    • Generate territory strategy to ensure coverage of all assigned accounts.
    • Working closely with the Client Support team to develop business growth opportunities.
    • Work cross-functionally with DoiT Customer Engineers as part of pre-sales engagement.
    • Ensure forecast accuracy (Salesforce), and that customer proposals and contracts are of the highest standard.
    • Achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire sales cycle.
    • Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
    • Working with Marketing and sales specialists on lead demand generation and campaigns from conception, planning, execution, and launch to post-launch analysis.
    • Ownership of a diverse customer portfolio that spans multiple industries within a specific spend cap.
    • Lead proactive customer engagements by conducting service and business reviews on high-potential accounts. Identifying customer needs and requirements with the capabilities and skills offered by DoiT.
    • Forge relationships with the customer C-suite and key contacts, ensuring a balanced approach that engages both influencers and decision-makers.
    • Proficiently manage the end-to-end renewal process, encompassing forecasting, negotiation, and signature, with a commitment to securing the retention of 100% of install base revenue.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our business, our cloud management platform, support and services and how they help our clients and their needs.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of business development / quota-carrying sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Proven experience selling cloud products/services.
  • Consistent record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • High degree of self-discipline and experience in using CRM systems and sales forecasting.
  • Technically minded, with an in-depth understanding of the technology and cloud computing market and a passion for Google Cloud/AWS products.
  • An entrepreneur at heart who is independent, curious, creative and passionate Networker with the ability to create, join and grow social circles and partnerships easily, with the ability to build influential relationships and to deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious.
  • Analytical, Data-driven, detail-oriented and able to “zoom” in/out from the big picture to the minutiae.
  • Ability to effectively operate flexibly and independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
