Job Description

SUMMARY:

An Associate in this role learns the operations of the Compensation Support team through hands on management, creation of policies and practices, preparation of reports, analysis and presentations, and the provision of administrative and project support. Implements and administers compensation strategies to ensure the achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives. This position is an entry level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care. This is a remote position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four (4) year college degree.
  • Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and can understand and apply research and statistics to assigned work projects.
  • Has good organizational skills and can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Competence in basic PC skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) required to perform general job functions and can acquire proficiency with office specific software and the web-based systems used to conduct job market analysis.
  • Knowledge of wage and hour regulations that guide the organization’s work, and an aptitude to become more
  • Expert in other laws that regulate compensation and privacy standards.
  • Demonstrated record of goal achievement.
  • Prior health care and home care experience is a plus.
  • Acceptable Pre-Employment Assessment Results.
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
  • Assist in the creation and management of policies, practices and procedures related to the services provided by the Compensation Support team.
  • Provide answers to routine compensation questions utilizing applicable policies and procedures and refers more complex questions or requests to Director.
  • Participate in market compensation analysis, external benchmarking, and pay structure development (e.g. creation of salary bands) to guide the practice’s annual merit reviews.
  • Research job and worker requirements, structural and functional relationships among jobs and occupations, and occupational trends.
  • Evaluate job/positions to determine FLSA exemption status and salary band assignment.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure the consistent, accurate representation of title and exemption status in all of BAYADA’s operating systems.
  • Maintain strong customer service approach and remain focused on deadlines and deliverables.
  • Initiate and independently research complex information through compilation of statistics, analyzing data and summarizing for review.
  • Participate in special projects: prepare reports and presentations.
  • Develop and/or coordinate articles for the BAYADA Weekly Bulletin, as needed.
  • Draft and distribute professional correspondence and announcements.
  • Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training and site visits.
  • Support the team (office and company) and provide back up as needed.
  • Manage office specific software.
  • Progressively assume additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
