Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Data and AI Strategist to join our growing Data & AI services team at Kinesso! In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, enabling clients to leverage data, AI, and marketing technologies as critical assets for business success. You will lead the delivery of transformational consulting engagements that enhance customer understanding and accelerate growth. With a focus on Data and AI-driven Marketing Transformation, you will work alongside multidisciplinary teams across industries and geographies, driving innovative, data-first solutions and uncovering new opportunities for client growth. This leadership role demands a strong consulting background, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to deliver solutions that drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Data and AI strategy consulting engagements, delivering impactful, best-in-class solutions that establish a strong data foundation for digital and marketing transformation.
    • Assess clients' key business priorities and evaluate their data and AI capabilities to guide their journey toward advanced data intelligence and marketing maturity.
    • Develop tailored, actionable recommendations leveraging best practices in customer data, AI, and analytics, including:
    • Strategic use of Customer Data Platforms and data management tools.
    • Deployment of AI and analytics capabilities for marketing and business impact.
    • Ensuring data quality and governance frameworks are implemented effectively.
    • Designing scalable identity strategies and consent/preference management.
    • Enabling activation through data clean rooms, measurement, and attribution.
    • Deliver clear findings in professional deliverables, including prioritized use cases, gap analyses, solution architectures, future state designs, and actionable roadmaps.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data strategists, analysts, experience experts, and technical specialists, as well as partners' SMEs and solution architects.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge and relevant to client needs.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic consulting, with a focus on data strategy, AI, and marketing transformation.
    • Demonstrated success delivering data-driven projects that drive measurable business outcomes and client growth.
    • Proven expertise in leveraging customer data (1P, 2P, 3P) to enable marketing innovation and organizational adoption.
    • Strong experience in data-driven marketing, including campaign development, measurement, and optimization.
    • Working knowledge of the Martech ecosystem, including Customer Data Platforms, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), and journey orchestration tools.
    • Ability to translate business challenges into data and AI strategies and actionable solutions.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working in cross-functional and intercultural teams, with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with machine learning, statistics, or empirical economics, and tools like Adobe/Google Analytics and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • Understanding of digital touchpoint data (e.g., cookies, device IDs) and its implications for customer data strategies.
    • Experience in Media and AdTech, with a strong grasp of how these align with AI and data-driven marketing approaches.
    • Knowledge of experimentation and digital maturity frameworks.
    • A quantitative background in fields such as Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
