Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate System Configuration Analyst who will:

  • Be responsible for handling service requests, operational needs assessment and requirements analysis to maximize technology use within Ayin Operations
  • Receive business needs from customers, research issues, coordinate with impacted operational areas and convert all inputs into proposed solutions
  • Complete system configuration or develop requirement documentation for review by software vendors
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Ayin's systems and implementations
  • Work in conjunction with Ayin account representation and project management to ensure plan and provider needs are being met
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Have fundamental technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Be a strong team player
  • Routinely test configuration updates, software releases and coordinates testing environment activities in relation to quality control

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States:

  • Oregon
  • Washington
  • California

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a System Configuration Analyst, Quality Control Analyst or another applicable Information Technology position
  • 2+ years of healthcare administration experience (Experience may include: Claims, Customer Service, Provider Relations or another healthcare related environment)
  • Healthcare insurance and claims administration

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administration or IT with emphasis on Health Information Systems
  • SQL experience
  • 1+ years of experience using Ayin's Community Integration Manager (CIM)
  • Health insurance industry rules and regulations
  • Medical coding and forms

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
