Responsibilities
Assist in performing audit of client financial statements under supervision of senior personnel on team
Assist in completing audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings
Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations
Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work
Assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same
Recommend on ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to auditing and financial reporting
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant is strongly preferred.
At least one busy season of audit experience in a Senior role, or currently holding a Senior position in the local firm.
Experienced in handling approximately 15–18 engagements involving small- to medium-sized companies.
Exhibit high attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communications skills
Strong proficiency in the use of technology and basic PC applications (Excel, Word)
WFH TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Internet Speed: 50-100 Mbps
Dedicated Home Office Area: Private, quiet workspace
