Dayshift/WFH - Construction Estimator (with AU - CostX Experience)Work schedule: 8am-5pm NSW Full time : 8hrs/day - 40 hours work week VA Rate: 10-11AUD/hour We are looking for an experienced individual who can handle estimating tasks using CostX (or other construction estimating) software, perform contract administration, and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in construction, and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, tradespeople, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:Estimating: Use CostX software to handle the entire estimating process from earthworks to project completion.
Input plans and specifications into the software.
Complete takeoffs for all construction phases, including materials, labor, and costs.
Prepare, review, and send tenders and pricing details to clients and contractors.
Contract Administration:- Assist with the management and review of construction contracts.
Ensure all contractual documents are in place, accurate, and comply with regulatory standards.
Track project timelines and budgets to ensure contract terms are met.
Handle change orders, variations, and contract amendments as necessary.
Communication and Coordination:- Liaise with clients, tradespeople, and internal team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Administrative Support:- Provide administrative assistance, including data entry, document management, and scheduling.
Requirements
STRONG PREFERENCE:
High proficiency with the following software:
○ CostX ○ Open to other similar construction estimating software
Skills and Experience Required:
STRONG PREFERENCE for Extensive experience and familiarity with CostX software.
Experience in construction estimating in Australia.
Experience in construction procurement.
Knowledge of contract administration within a construction environment.
Strong administrative skills, including data entry and managing project documentation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
