Job Title: Azure AD engineer
Job Location: Manassas, VA.
Job Type: Remote
Active Directory Management:
Creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, groups, and computer objects in Active Directory.
Managing Organizational Units (OUs), including creating, moving, and deleting OUs as per organizational structure.
Managing Active Directory Sites and Services for efficient replication and network access.
Monitoring and maintaining Active Directory health and performance.
Domain Controller Management:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining domain controllers.
Monitoring domain controller performance and availability.
Troubleshooting domain controller-related issues.
Ensuring proper replication between domain controllers.
Upgrading domain controllers when necessary.
Group Management:
Creating, modifying, and deleting security and distribution groups.
Managing group membership and permissions.
GPOs (Group Policy Objects):
Creating, modifying, and linking Group Policy Objects to OUs.
Configuring security settings, software installation policies, and user environment settings through GPOs.
Troubleshooting GPO application issues.
DFS-R (Distributed File System Replication):
Configuring and managing DFS namespaces and folders.
Monitoring DFS-R replication and resolving replication conflicts.
Troubleshooting DFS-R issues.
AD Replication:
Monitoring and troubleshooting Active Directory replication.
Ensuring replication consistency and integrity.
Resolving replication issues to maintain directory service health.
Password Reset and Unlock:
Assisting users with password resets and unlocking their accounts.
Implementing self-service password reset solutions.
Enforcing password policies to ensure security.
DNS and DHCP:
Configuring and managing DNS servers for name resolution within the domain.
Configuring and managing DHCP servers for dynamically assigning IP addresses to clients.
